POPUP Upliftment

POPUP, the People Upliftment Programme, has operated as a comprehensive skills training and development centre since 2005, prioritising independence and upliftment through market-oriented, cost-effective training. We dream of whole cities where every person is treated with dignity, lives with significance, and makes a positive contribution.

By advocating an integrated approach, POPUP emphasises holistic growth encompassing mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. Focused on equipping unemployed individuals aged 18 to 35 for meaningful employment, POPUP’s skill-building programmes foster self-worth, entrepreneurial potential, and long-term independence. By connecting training directly to the demands of the job market, we help young people transition into sustainable employment and break the cycle of poverty.

At POPUP, we shape tomorrow’s workforce by addressing the challenges faced by individuals Not in Employment, Education, or Training (NEETs). Representing both economic potential and significant risk, this subset of the population highlights the underutilised human assets of our country.

Through our transformative programmes, POPUP harnesses this potential, preparing youth for employment and empowering them to create a brighter future for themselves, their families, and their communities.
