ForAfrika South Africa NPC
Formerly known as JAM, ForAfrika was founded in 1984 and is the largest indigenous humanitarian relief and development organisation working for an Africa that thrives. ForAfrika brings resources and invests in community development programmes that are locally led to address the barriers faced by the communities, leading to equitable growth and transformation. In South Africa, ForAfrika serves approximately 120,000 preschool children in 3,000 Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres and partners with communities to fight hunger, malnutrition, poverty, and barriers to education which leads to equitable development and transformation. We operate in all nine provinces, feeding children a highly nutritious porridge daily. ForAfrika believes that without education, there can be no development, and hungry children cannot learn.
ForAfrika’s Vision is: An Africa that Thrives; its Purpose: Driven by a deep love for our people, we won’t stop working until everyone on our continent has the resources they need; its Mission: Provide the resources that unlock the abundance of Africa so every African community can thrive.
